After twenty-four years of devoted service, we sadly announce Andy Parker will retire on 23rd December 2022.
Andy, a Chartered Geologist, joined Marsden’s Geotechnical and Environmental Consultants Ltd (now Sub Surface Consultants Ltd) on 11th May 1998 as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer. He successfully beat ten other candidates for the role and has since been an integral and valued member of Sub Surface for the last twenty-four years.
Andy has an extensive knowledge of geotechnical engineering, specialising in geology, mining, earthworks and slope stability issues and has taken a lead in mentoring Sub Surface Engineers. He has generously shared his years of geotechnical knowledge which has helped develop the careers of many young graduates.
His contributions, loyalty and dedication will always be valued and remembered. He is always the last person in the office and has only taken thirteen days off sick in his twenty-four and a half years at Sub Surface. His hard work, commitment and dedication are worthy of admiration and he will be greatly missed.
